  • In this high-tech era, computer technology is encapsulating all spheres of human needs and aspirations. The department is headed by Prof. Vijay Shukla, who has vast experience in teaching.
The institute strives to create a learning environment which is conducive to development of a wholesome personality of students. The main focus is, of course, on imparting technical education and preparing the students methodically and systematically for university examination. The institute encourages and supports implementation of innovative teaching methodologies other than conventional teaching methods by faculty in class rooms, tutorials, and labs. Some of these methods being practiced are:
    1. Making a good student responsible to guide a group of weak students in doing and evaluating assignments under the guidance of faculty.
    2. Involving students in taking classes on selected topics.
    3. Conducting open question and answer session periodically.
    4. Co-opting students to help faculty members in research work.
    5. Co-opting students with faculty members to interact with industry and work on Industrial projects or problems.

  • The progress of any country is judged by the index as to how much electrical energy it is generating and utilizing. The demand of electrical energy in our country is increasing at a very fast rate and this necessitates the need to generate more power .Thus the role of electrical engineer becomes all the more important in today’s scenario.
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, headed by Prof. Vinay Kumar Chandna, is well equipped to train graduates to advance their theoretical knowledge and sound practices of the profession The course is designed to impart technical knowhow to provide the students broad knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to satisfy the general needs of the industry and academic sectors.
Initially the programme provides students with a broad base on which their specialist knowledge can be built, the later years have been designed to produce professional engineers with a good working knowledge of analogue, digital and power electronics, electrical machines and power system with the emphasis on applications. With the emphasis on above areas, students acquire analytic and practical skills to serve better in industrial, service and research organizational set-ups.
The department has an excellent infrastructure to promote a congenial academic environment to impart quality education with well equipped laboratories and a team of qualified and dedicated faculty members. It also has adequate skilled and self-motivated technical staff.
The department has collaboration with several high profile industries and organizations, which provide necessary training to our students. Such training programs help to build confidence and skills among students and make them acceptable to industries and other organizations.
