For admission to First Year of B.Tech. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Computer Science are eligible for admission to B. Tech Programmes. Admission is done through the entrance test conducted by U. P. Technical University called UPSEAT for state domicile seats. The allotment of college & branch is through counseling based on merit and choice of students.

The admission to Management Quota seats will be made as per the guidelines of the U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. Fifteen percent (15%) of approved intake of a course is filled under this category. For B.Tech course, candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50%(45% for SC/ST) marks in total of required subjects combination(PCM) from recognized  Board /University.

For admission to First Year of MCA, Candidate must have passed  three years of Degree course from any recognized University with mathematics as one subject at 10+2 level or bachelor degree level.

For MCA course, the minimum qualification required is three years Bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum 50%(45% for SC/ST) and candidate must have passed  Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation  from any recognized  University /Institute .

For admission to First Year of MBA, Candidate must have passed  three years of Degree course from any recognized University.

For Admission to Second Year(lateral entry) B.Tech, the candidate must have passed three years engineering Diploma from an institution located in U.P. with minimum 60% marks  OR whose parents(Father or Mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and have passes three years Engineering Diploma(with minimum 60%  marks) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. in any branch of Engineering.

The admission for Kashmiri migrates will be according to norms laid down by the Govt. of U.P./AICTE.
