An Electronics Engineer is often seen as a catalyst for the change in electronics and communication and automation in the industry. The global demand has deemed it necessary for an electronics engineer to have more efficient communication network with the latest electronic devices and circuits. Besides providing a thorough background in basic sciences and engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering also lays greater emphasis on deep understanding of fundamental principles and knowledge of electronic device & circuits, computer architecture & microprocessor, VLSI & embedded system, analog and digital communication, digital signal processing, microwave & mobile communication. The department has excellent opportunity to expand its research programme in the modern areas of Applied Electronics. Students have good opportunity to understand the technology through latest software like OrCAD, MATLAB, VHDL, LabVIEW so as to enable them to be socially conscious and technologically skilled and contribute towards solving socially relevant technical problems. After successfully completing training under NI Innovation Center, students will be able to carry out industry oriented projects in various areas like: Automation, Telecommunications, Wireless Communication, Image Processing, Aerospace, Bio-medical Engineering, Robotics, Process Control Design , Remote Sensing, Military and many more.
