    MBA department of ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida organized AICTE sponsored National Seminar on Managing Challenges in Service Marketing on 24th March 2012.
    The program was inaugurated with the lightening of the lamp with the benevolence of our Hon.ble Vice Chairman of ITS Group of Institutions Mr. Arpit Chadda , Secretary ITS Group of Institutions Mr Bhushan Arora, Dr. Sraban Mukherjee Director ITS engineering College and the Chief guest Mr. Vijay Raghunathan, Vice president American Express(JAPA region),The guest of honour Mr. Kapil Kaul, Advisor Social Marketing, Election Commission of INDIA.
    The seminar was conducted into two sessions. The first technical session was Headed by the Chairperson, Mr. Marc Ragsdale – President of M/S Prospus Group, a US base Company, who gave his precious views on the challenges faced by service industry. The session was continued by Prof Dr. Anoop Pant who also came up with different ideas to manage the Change. Further we were enlightened by the knowledge of Dr. KC Gupta, DGM – KRIBHCO – Noida.
    Technical Session second was set to fire by thought provoking ideas of Mr. Sachin Dhamija, President – DTDC Logistics.
    The seminar was a success in terms of attaining knowledge and getting the real life understanding of the market. The students were delighted to meet the Top professionals from Industry and Academia who opened a new world for them to think beyond books.

    A conference on Advancement in Computing and Communication CACCS 2012 was successfully organized at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida on March 24-25, 2012. The event was a joint venture between Department of CSE, IT & MCA of ITS Engineering College and COMMUNE, a society which organizes a conference each year. The untiring efforts of the organizers and the support of the management and the Director of ITS contributed largely to CACCS 2012 becoming an engaging affair.
    The Inaugural session was graced by a number of luminaries. The Chief Guest, Dr. G. G. Rao, Guest of Honour Dr. K. Gopal, Vice-Chairman of ITS Group, Mr. Arpit Chadha, Director Dr. S. Mukherjee & Dr. Akhilesh Upadhyay sat on the dias and initiated the session after the Saraswati Bandana, and opening of the Proceedings of the conference. In his talk, Dr. Rao, CIO, HCL Infosystems, Noida stressed on the importance of hard work, dedication and discipline for success in life. In his speech, Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, ITS Group spoke of the steps that ITS Management is taking to foster Education and support research and conference of such nature for development of in-house faculty and all round development of society.
    Participants came from distant places and presented papers and poster. Students worked sincerely towards making the conference a memorable one and also registered in large numbers. The reviewers of the papers maintained exacting standards which helped quality paper found release in the proceedings. The Invited speakers enriched the gathering by their stimulating talks. The session Chairs and Co-Chairs in the various Technical session kept up the tempo and contributed effectively. The Press gave adequate coverage to the event.
    The curtains were brought down by a Vote of Thanks by Prof. S. Ghosh. The conference was sponsored by AICTE.

    The Electrical & Electronics (EEE) and Electronics & Communication (ECE) department of I.T.S Engineering College, Gr. Noida, has jointly organized two day seminar on “Application of Signal Processing in Electrical And Electronics Engineering”, (ASPEE-12), on 24-25 Feb, 2012.

    During the seminar, the resource persons, from the prestigious institutions and the industry, delivered the talk in the seminar. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. S.C. Dutta Roy, Fellow IEEE, Prof. Emeritus IIT Delhi. In his Key note speech, he talked about the relationship between teaching and research. Prof. D.P. Kothari, former Prof. IIT Delhi, VC VIT Vellore and Presently working as Director General, Raisoni Group of Institutions, Nagpur and he talked about the Energy Environment Problems facing the Third World and their probable solution, Prof. Pramod Kumar from Delhi College of Engineering talked about Broadband over Power Line, Prof. A.B. Bhattacharya, former Professor, IIT Delhi talked about Microsystem –ON-Silicon-(MOS)-Where small is not so small.Prof. Raj Senani, Director NSIT, New Delhi, concluded the seminar with his talk on Analog Circuits and Signal Processing: The Translinear Approach and distributed the certificates to the participants.

    A two day National Conference on “Microwave Antenna & Signal Processing”, was organized by Electronics & Communication Engineering Deptt during 22nd and 23rd April 2011. It was sponsored by Department of Science & Technology Government of India, & Brio-elabs, Greater Noida.
    The National Conference on Microwave, Antenna & Signal Processing (NCMASP-2011), aims at bringing together the Researchers, Scientist, Engineers & Research students in the area of Engineering & Technology & provides a National forum for dissemination of original Research, new ideas & practical development experiences.
    NCMASP-2011 is organized to address various issues to promote the creation of intelligent solutions in future. The theme of this Conference will motivate the Researchers to adopt the outcome for implementation. The Conference will provide an exceptional platform to Researchers to meet, discuss the practical solution, scientific results & methods in solving intriguing problems with people who are actively involved in these emerging fields.

    Inaugural speech was delivered by Prof. R K Yadav, HOD ECE, I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida. In which he has welcome all the Guest, Delegates, and Participant from all over the India.

    After that the guest of Honour Dr.Bhure Lal , Retired IAS officer & chairmen of Governing body of I.T.S Engineering College addressed all the people & shared his knowledge about Microwave, Antenna, Signal Processing & MIMO Technology.

    After that chief guest Dr.S.K.Kak, Vice Chancellor, MTU, addressed the people & shared his knowledge on recent advances in Wireless, Mobile Communication, Microwave Antenna& Signal Processing.

    After that Conference proceedings were released by the guest of Honour Dr. Bhure Lal.

    There were parallel 8 oral presentations session namely Microwave, Antenna, Signal Processing & Wireless Etc. & poster presentation. We have received enormous response from all over India. There were total 87 paper were published in the proceedings.

    After that Oral Feedback is taken from the Participants. At the End, Vote of Thanks was given by Prof. R K Yadav, HOD ECE Department.
    All the participants praised the efforts done by the ECE department.

    A One-day National Seminar on “Cyber Threats: Issues and Challenges” was organized by MCA/CS/IT Departments at I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida on Saturday, 02 April 2011. Dr Gulshan Rai , Director General, CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team-India) and Group Coordinator of E-Security and Cyber Law Division in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ,Govt. of India, was the Chief Guest at the inaugural session of the Seminar and Cdr V K Jaitely,CEO, C –Cube Consultants was the Keynote Speaker. Seminar began with Lamp Lighting by Chief Guest, Keynote Speaker, Chief Administrator, I.T.S –The Education Group ,Mr S.S. Sood , Director, Dr Amitabh Verma, , Director (Dev.), Dr L N Paliwal , and Dr. V.B. Dhawan, Addl. Director. Thereafter Chief Administrator, I.T.S –The Education Group welcomed the Chief Guest and Director (Dev.) welcomed the Keynote Speaker by presenting them Bouquet of flowers.

    In his welcome address, Director I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida, Dr Amitabh Verma brought out that there is a need to create awareness on threats posed by cyber crimes and the challenge it poses to the security of Information Systems.

    In his Inaugural Address at the Seminar, Chief Guest Dr Gulshan Rai emphasized on the advantage of IT in all the areas of today’s environment. He discussed various cases of cyber crimes and elaborated on security measures needed for safe guarding against cyber threats. He also explained legal framework and the Cyber Security Strategy of India.

    In his key note address Cdr Jaitly explained various cyber threats and gave detailed description of cyber terrorism, the dangers associated with cyber terrorism and the need to take appropriate measures to safe guard against them.

    The theme of the first session was “Emerging Cyber Threats”. During this session Ms. Karnika Seth, Attorney at law. & Partner, Seth Associates Advocate & Legal Consultants and Mr. Sameer Dutt, Director, Futuristic Foundation Technologies Pvt. Ltd deliberated and discussed on the issues related to threats in cyber space. Cyber threats such as cyber warfare, virus attacks, cyber terrorism, hacking, phising, Credit card frauds, theft of information, Email spoofing, spamming, Cyber stalking, damaging computer systems; insider threats and MMS Scams were discussed. The speakers brought out that Cyber security threats today are more organised, targeted and have financial motives and call for new organisational structures, greater awareness and coordination between agencies.
    The theme of the second session was “Combating Cyber Threats” . Dr. B. K. Murthy ,Director & Head Software Industry, Promotion & ITES Division , Dept. of IT, Govt. of India and Mr. Aashish K. Saxena, M.D.,A.K.S. Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. shared their views and experiences on the challenges faced by enterprises in combating the cyber threats. The speakers elaborated on the issues, trends and challenges in the area of information security. Challenges to make students aware of basic principles of system security were discussed by the speakers. The speakers brought out the areas where we can concentrate to safeguard from security threats. Cloud computing related security issues were also discussed during this session. The speakers brought out that there is a need to better understand and mitigate many of the cyber-based issues confronting organizations operating in the global environment.

    The National Seminar was coordinated by Additional Director, Dr. V B Dhawan.The faculty members of CS/IT and MCA Departments provided necessary support for the conduct of the Seminar. The faculty members and students of CS/IT/MCA departments along with 55 delegates from various institutes in NCR attended the Seminar.
