    Computing is changing the way we think and work, and plays a significant role not only  in solving different kinds of engineering and technological problems but also in satisfying societal needs such as health care. Consequently, great advances have taken place in the field of computer science and engineering, bringing together the understanding of the scientific and technological foundations of computing, the concepts of software and hardware as well as those of communication technologies. The Department endeavours to contribute to these advances through teaching and research in this field.

     

    The Department was founded in 2006. The Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) program in Computer Science and Engineering, offered by the Department, with an intake of 180 students, is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

     

    The courses in the program enable students to build their character. The objective of the program is to build well human with strong character and responsible to the society.

     

    Our graduates are sought after across all economic sectors and some have even started their enterprises.

     

    We offer a lot of flexibility in specializations which promote design, innovations and enterprise skills, and are supported by highly experienced and research oriented faculty.

    The platform where organizations needed to develop, deploy and manage mobile apps are made from many components and tools which allow a developer to write test and deploy applications into the target platform environment.

    An investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with the quality of software product or service under test.

    It is a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical and electrical system having real time constraints.

     

    4.     Data Science

    Data science is a multidisciplinary blend of data inference, algorithm development, and technology in order to solve analytically complex problems

    5.     Block Chain

    It is digitized, decentralized, public ledger of all financial transactions. Originally, developed as the accounting method for virtual currency aiming for variety of applications in industries.

    The program of Electronics and Communication Engineering offers a fascinating journey, it’s like a roller coaster ride, and you have to really work hard to stay stable. It offers exciting opportunities. Few changes decades old: Moore's law, Analog to Digital conversion, regeneration of Digital Signal and Cellular concept for Wireless Communication have propelled the growth in this domain.  Challenges exist to master new frontiers in design, to reduce power consumption, area, thus, improving reliability and efficiency of future devices. Growth in the area of Electronics Engineering has affected every aspect of life - starting from Home to Intelligent home, Class room to intelligent class room, intelligent roads, intelligent vehicles, and intelligent clothes etc. Ability to communicate all types of information from any place, any time is changing society from Information age to Intelligent age. As an engineer to be relevant, great efforts will be needed in every sub branch of this discipline, be it Communication, Embedded, VLSI or Biomedical.      Program

     

    The department offers four year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program (comprising of eight semesters) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. EE is the basic course, but with advancement of Electrical Technology based on electronics, EE coursework is modified to EEE. This stream is recognized worldwide for its flexibility and academic excellenceThe curriculum of B.Tech program comprises of core courses, department elective courses, open electives, seminar, laboratory experiments and projects. Department has signed MOUs as Training Partner of “Instrumentation Automation Surveillance Communication skill council” (IASC) and “Skill Council for Green Jobs” (SCGJ), NSDC Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

     

    Department is equipped with excellent laboratories with cutting edge technology and rich departmental library facility. All laboratories are being regularly upgraded and new labs with latest software and instruments are added according to the curriculum requirement of the University. Some major equipment such as Solar panel, In-house 120 KW PV based solar power generation setup, DSO etc. are facilitating students to do hands-on in field of non-conventional energy projects. To meet the requirement of deregulated electricity market and to maintain power quality of the electrical network system, department procured Advanced Fluke Power Quality Analyzer which helps students to carry out the Power Quality projects.     Centre of Excellence in Automation

     

    Apart from regular laboratories, department is proud to possess Centre of Excellence in Automation Technologies in collaboration with top notch leader “Rockwell Automation. The primary objective of this centre is to bridge the technological gap and focus on hands –on training in area of Industrial automation: a critical need for all major recruiters. This centre has Industrial Automation Hardware Module & License based Rockwell Software. The centre regularly arranges Automation oriented workshops, Industrial Visits, Live Projects Handling and Placement opportunities. These trainings enhance competency levels of the students for better employability for the module based training in Basic PLC, HMI & SCADA, Motion Control, Variable Frequency Drive and Vibration & Redundancy Control. Rockwell Trainers provide training for Building Automation and Industrial Automation.

     

    The program offers sufficient flexibility so that the students can undertake various elective courses that provide exposure in various specializations in electrical engineering, such as Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and drives, Power System, Control System, Analog and Digital Electronics, Electromagnetism, Robotics, Automation and System Engineering. The undergraduate students can also undertake various research projects through exploratory projects that are embedded in the curriculum. The primary goal of the exploratory project is to facilitate a window to the students for experimentation, model development and learning advanced tools.

     

    The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has faculty members who have done their UG and PG degrees from the top-notch universities in India and abroad. The faculty members of this department are consistently excelling in teaching and research. Faculty members and students of EEE are regularly receiving awards, prizes for outstanding contributions in their respective fields. Moreover faculty is regularly mentoring students for innovative projects through MSME, Entrepreneurship Development of India (EDI) and DST. The faculty members are actively involved in research work and regularly publish their research papers in Journals and Conferences. A dedicated Innovative idea patenting system is followed in the department which provides forum for faculty members and students to file patents. Department is also taking initiative in MSME projects of Govt. of India.

     

    Department  is running an active IEEE Student Branch  for "Power & Energy Society" Chapter, "Women in Engineering" Chapter and IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) for increasing research and contribution towards society.

  • Mechanical engineering is a field of engineering concerned with the design, construction, and operation of machinery. Mechanical Engineering is the science of exploring the natural resources of power and propulsion and materials of engineering construction through the design, development, production, installation and operation of power plants, transport equipments and industrial plants. Many things that we see around us which may include as small as a needle or as big as a space shuttle are the results of design and developments in the field of Mechanical Engineering, of course, with contribution from other streams as well. The demand for mechanical engineers with good technical skills has been high for many years. There are many aspects of education that you must master to be able to get a degree in mechanical engineering. The standard curriculum allows flexibility in choosing courses that reflect interests within the broad areas of mechanical engineering. It has its influence in almost all other disciplines of engineering. Civil engineering focuses on the infrastructure of the world which include Water works, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc. Among the important subdivisions of the field are construction engineering, irrigation engineering, transportation engineering, soils and foundation engineering, geodetic engineering, hydraulic engineering, and coastal and ocean engineering.

    This is a full-fledged department decorated with highly qualified members of the faculty in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The faculty with a doctorate each is from reputed universities. The average teaching experience of the members of faculty is ten years.

The department has state of the art laboratories with ample instruments and other set up to provide practical training to the students in the fields of Physics, Environment and Ecology, Chemistry and Professional Communication.
