GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION

1.Registrations to be done by 27th Feb 2019.
2.All the participants must carry their college ID Card.
3.Participants should reach at least half an hour before the event starts.
4.Participants are requested to check their event timing and venue at registration desk.
5.Judges decision would be final.
6.Registration is based on first come first serve.
7.Vulgarity or misbehavior shall lead to direct elimination of the participant.
8.Registration fees Rs.200 per head.
9.Use of fire, swords, guns, knives or any flammable substance as prop is strictly prohibited.
10.Participant who misses to perform in allotted slot would be disqualified.
11.Participant’s name and details must be listed on the entry form at the time of registration; anyone not listed will not be eligible for competition.
12.Use of cigarettes, alcohol or any other intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited.
13.Limited entries based on first come first serve basis.
14.For Arts competition, use of cell phones and tablets during the event is prohibited.

Cultural Events



1. Fashion Show,      Venue: Sardar Patel Auditorium

1.Each team may have 6 to 10 participants, each from same institute.
2.Duration of performance is 3-4 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
3.The participants would be judged on the basis of their presentation, talent, formation, walking style, originality, and costumes/makeup.
4.Theme selection is open to the team.
5.A green room would be provided for changing purpose.

2. Nukkad Naatak,      Venue: ITS College Street

1.Duration of performance is 10-12 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Each team may have 15 to 20 participants, each from same institute.
3.Language can be Hindi/English
4.Offensive language/words against any specific person, Indian Constitution, religion/caste would lead to direct elimination of the team.
5.Any dual meaning obscene content would lead to elimination of the team.
6.Music or electronic equipment (including microphone) is not allowed.

3. Battle of Bands,       Venue: ITS Main ground

1.Each team may have 6 to 10 participants, each from same institute.
2.A performance will be of maximum 15 minutes and 5 minutes for sound check.
3.Set of 5 drums will be provided but team has to bring their own Hi-Hat and symbols.
4.No guitar leads will be provided.

4. Solo Dance,      Venue: Sardar Patel Auditorium

1.Duration of performance is 3‐4 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Participants should bring their own source of music.
3.Props and fancy costumes can be used & is to be bought by participant.
4.The participants would be judged on the basis of their rhythm, expressions, costumes/makeup, setup and overall effect.
5.There are following categories in dance form-
a)Classical/ Folk/ Semi Classical
b)Bollywood / Western

5. Duet Dance,      Venue: Sardar Patel Auditorium

1.Duration of performance is 3-4 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Participants should bring their own source of music.
3.Props and fancy costumes can be used & is to be bought by participants.
4.Each team shall have 2 participants each from same institute.
5.The participants would be judged on the basis of their rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, costumes/makeup, setup and overall effects.

6. Group Dance        Venue: Sardar Patel Auditorium

1.Duration of performance is 3-4 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Participants should bring their own source of music.
3.Props and fancy costumes can be used & is to be bought by participants.
4.Each team may have 6 to 10 participants, each from same institute.
5.The participants would be judged on the basis of their rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, costumes/makeup, setup and overall effects.

7. Solo Singing        Venue: Sardar Patel Auditorium

1.Karaoke or instruments are allowed.
2.Duration of performance is 2-3 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.

8. Ad‐Mania        Venue: Amphitheatre

1.Duration of performance is 2-3 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Each team shall have 2 participants, each from same institute.
3.Any dual meaning obscene content would lead to elimination of the team.
4.The participants would be judged on the basis of content, coordination, spontaneity, sense of humour and overall appeal of the advertisement.




Arts Events



1. Rangoli        Venue: In front of Registrar Office

1.Duration of performance is 60 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit
2.The size of Rangoli should not exceed 3*3 ft.
3.Each team shall have 3 participants, each from same institute.
4.Participants shall get their own rangoli colours for the competition.
5.The participants would be judged on the basis of design/theme, details and clarity, colour combination, creativity and overall appearance. Stencils are not allowed.

2.T-Shirt Painting        Venue: Amphitheatre

1.Duration of performance is 30 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.T‐shirt for designing will be given by the college.
3.Each team shall have 2 participants, each from same institute.
4.All the material required for T-­‐shirt designing like colors, brushes, stapler, glue, etc. have to be brought by the participant.

3. Collage Making        Venue: Amphitheatre

1.Duration of performance is 60 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Each team shall have 2 participants, each from same institute.
3.Only Newspapers, Glue, and Scissor would be used.
4.Institute shall only provide newspaper and A2 sheet.
5.The participants would be judged on the basis of relevance to theme, details and clarity, composition, creativity and overall appearance.

4. Master Chef (Only for ITS)        Venue: In front of Registrar Office

1.Duration of performance is 30 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Each team shall have 2 participants, each from same institute.
3.Participants shall bring their own cutlery, utensils and the ingredients required for cooking.
4.Use of fire at the venue is not allowed (College would not provide it). Pre-cooked food is allowed.
5.Each team would be given 2‐3 minutes to explain their dish.
6.The participants would be judged on taste, quality, quantity (number of items), visual appeal (presentation) and hygiene.

5. Soap carving        Venue: Amphitheatre

1.Duration of performance is 45 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Soap will be provided by the institute.
3.All other material such as knife or other carving instruments have to be brought by the participants.
4.Only 1 participant will be allowed.

6. Face Painting        Venue: Amphitheatre

1.Duration of performance is 30 minutes. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit.
2.Each team shall have 2 participants, each from same institute.
3.All the material required like colors, brushes have to be brought by the participant.
4.Theme will be provided on-spot.
